Come ridurre ad icona Msn su Windows 7
Oggi vorrei presentare una guida utile per tutti gli utenti Windows Live Messenger che hanno scaricato Windows 7 Release Candidate e installato Windows Live Essentials.
Col nuovo sistema operativo, il Messenger si comporta in maniera differente quando vogliamo ridurlo ad icona. Infatti cliccando sulla X, l’icona di msn non si minimizzerà in basso a destra a fianco dell’orologio, come siamo sempre stati abituati con Windows Xp e Vista, ma sulla nuova "Super-Task-Bar" introdotta su Windows Seven.
Questa soluzione potrebbe essere noiosa per i piu’ nostalgici e per chi apre e chiude spesso Windows Live Messenger. Ora vediamo come possiamo impostare il Messenger affinchè si comporti nella stessa maniera di Win Xp e Vista.
Andiamo nella cartella in cui abbiamo installato Msn, ossia C:\Programmi\Windows Live\Messenger
Ora cerchiamo il file msnmsgr.exe clicchiamoci sopra con il tasto destro e dal menu a tendina selezioniamo la voce "Proprietà". Tra le varie schede selezioniamo "Compatibilità" e impostiamo "Esegui il programma in modalità compatibilità per Windows Vista (service pack 2) ".
Clicchiamo su Ok e come per magia il nostro Messenger funzionerà come eravamo precedentemente abituati. Per ripristinare la nuova impostazione invece basta ripetere la stessa operazione e deselezionare la voce di compatibilità.

Il procedimento illustrato non funziona, MSN si riduce sempre ad icona a destra invece che in systray.
